Web Server on an Alarm Clock →
For some reason, this thing really appeals to me. It’s a Linux-powered alarm clock, complete with Pandora, weather forecasts, e-mail, etc. on it. Then this guy put a web server on it, and published the link. Very cool.
It reminds me of those old “internet coffee machines” that were popular in the late 90’s (even if those were just webcams)…

But the other part of me wants to just hang it all and use Tumblr as my home page, maybe using Yahoo! Pipes...

OMG - The Goodies!
I just found out that NC’s own The Goodies are doing a “reunion” show June 19th in Greenville (@ The Handlebar), that I just might have to get to… For those unfamiliar with their particularly chaotic brand of music (described on their MySpace page as “Rock / Comedy / Classical Opera and Vocal”), I encourage you to check them out.
Free Virtual Toybox from Soup Toys →
I downloaded this the other day for the kids, and they love it. It’s a freeware collection of “virtual desktop toys” (desktop widgets with physics). Sports balls, marbles, holiday stuff, toy cars, blocks, and more. Our kids have been goofing with them for the past couple days, making these awesome Rube Goldberg machines (automatic basketball scorers with chickens, marbles, and...

So now, I’m testing the Tumblr-to-Twitter connection, and I need to post something here… How about a link? http://ericwoodward.tumblr.com
